Top rating in Chambers and Partners 2006 - October 2005
3 Serjeants' Inn has been top rated by leading legal guide Chambers & Partners 2006 in clinical negligence/professional discipline, and police law. John Beggs continues to be star rated in police law, described as "better than most silks out there". Philip Naughton QC is star rated as a mediator and is highly recommended as an international arbitrator. The guide, released 21 October 2005, states that 3 Serjeants' Inn has "the right combination of technical excellence and approachability", and "some great advocates and an impressive success rate".
We are also proud to announce that John Grace QC has won the Professional Negligence Silk of the Year Award at the 2005 Chambers and Partners Bar Awards. These awards are designed to recognise the leading practitioners in each field. John Grace Q.C. (called 1973, Q.C.1994) specialises in medical law, appearing for both claimants and defendants in some of the most significant cases in recent years, including Kerstin Parkin -v- Bromley Hospitals NHS Trust (in which he won a record £12m damages for the claimant), the Rodney Ledward case and NHS Trust A v Mrs M: NHS Trust B -v- Mrs H.
