Claire Watson successfully defends dentist against claim of negligent administration of inappropriate anaesthetic

Claire Watson has successfully defended a claim against a dentist on behalf of the DDU this week.  This was a dental negligence claim in which the Claimant alleged that the Defendant dentist administered an inappropriate anaesthetic injection and went on to drill into a tooth that was inadequately anaesthetised.  The Claimant’s account was found to be unreliable and exaggerated and the claim was dismissed with costs awarded to the Defendant.  Claire was instructed by Mike Jennings at Nabarros, Sheffield.
