Nicholas Mullany acts for Mental Health Trust in Article 2 inquest

Nicholas Mullany represented Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust at the inquest into the death of Andrea Adams, a troubled young woman formerly under the care of the mental health team at the Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport. Following some six weeks of evidence in a wide ranging Article 2 inquest, the Coroner for the Greater Manchester South District returned a verdict that Ms Adams took her own life by jumping from the sixth floor of her premises. No criticism was made of any individual employed by the Trust or of the Trust.
