Landmark ruling on whether to withdraw treatment from person in minimally conscious state

Bridget Dolan represented the PCT in a landmark case regarding an application to withdraw treatment from a patient in a minimally conscious state. The court accepted Bridget's legal submissions (which were opposed by the Official Solicitor) as to the correct legal approach to take to assessing best interests in such cases.
