Lady Justice Hallett, sitting at Assistant Deputy Coroner, on 6th May returned 52 verdicts of unlawful killing in the 7/7 London Bombings Inquests.
Hallett LJ found no evidence that any organisational or individual failings had "caused or contributed to the deaths".
There was praise for the efforts of both the Security Services and the emergency services, as well as 9 recommendations to improve systems for the future.
Four members of chambers were involved in representing organisations as properly interested persons: John Beggs QC led for West Yorkshire Police, James Watson QC and Sarah Simcock acted for the London Ambulance Service and Leanne Woods was junior counsel for the British Transport Police.
