Nick is well regarded in the industry and has particular expertise on matters concerning assessment of costs and fees generally, having been the clerks’ representative on the Bar Council Fees and Remuneration Committee for many years. He has also been a member of the Fees Collection Committee since 1988 and has been involved with the 'Withdrawal of Credit Scheme' since its inception. He is also a member of the Bar Council Legal Aid Committee.

Nick is a former management committee member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks and still represents his institute on numerous internal and Bar Council Committees.
