Disciplinary  

Ranald has advised and represented doctors and dentists faced with professional disciplinary hearings (General Medical Council and General Dental Council) and performance related inquiries undertaken at local hospital and healthcare Trust level. He has also acted as junior counsel in a lengthy General Medical Council Professional Conduct Committee hearing involving radiological misdiagnoses.

GMC cases have included disciplinary hearings of doctors involved in the private provision of separate measles, mumps and rubella vaccinations and the restoration of practitioners convicted of indecent assault.
