Queen's Counsel

Queen's Counsel have been around for the past 400 years, since Sir Francis Bacon became the first counsel to the Sovereign during the reign of Elizabeth I. An appointment as Queen's Counsel (QC) identifies a barrister who has achieved excellence in advocacy in the higher courts and arbitration.
