He co-authored the most recent edition of Medical Treatment Decisions and the Law (2010) and the Limitation section of Clinical Negligence (APIL 2008).  Between 2000 and 2009 he was a contributing Editor to the Medical Law Reports.  He is a contributor to Clinical Risk (2009, Vol 15, No 5)



Lectures and Seminars

 

Michael lectures extensively.  He has twice chaired AvMA's Cardiology Claims conference.  He regularly speaks on Medical Treatment Decisions and the Law.  He has spoken on a wide range of subjects including Corporate Manslaughter, Confidentiality, Fatal Accident Claims, Withdrawal of Treatment from patients suffering locked in syndrome, Special Damages, Causation (Gregg v Scott) and Limitation.  He has been a guest speaker at the International Bar Association's conferences in both Buenos Aires and Strasbourg.
