Nature of Practice

 

Leanne has a growing public law practice and her instructions have included the judicial review of the National Clinical Assessment Service on behalf of a consultant psychiatrist.  She regularly acts for families, NHS Trusts, other statutory bodies and the police at inquests and has been involved in a number of Article 2 ECHR inquests, including a 6 week investigation into a death in prison custody. 

 

Leanne is instructed in the very significant inquests into the London bombings on 7 July 2005, appearing as junior counsel for the British Transport Police.
