Nature of Practice

 

Specialist in clinical negligence and disciplinary tribunals with substantial advocacy-based practice. Extensive trial experience in clinical and dental negligence cases. Regularly acts for hospitals, health authorities and privately indemnified doctors. Instructed by NHSLA and defence societies in complex, high-value claims.

 

Wide experience in various disciplinary tribunals, but predominantly in the GMC, GDC & HC(90)9 Annex B and particularly in the FTP panels of the GMC and GDC. Regularly instructed on potential judicial review of decisions and appeals latterly to the Privy Council.
